CLAIRE VEUT LA LUNE… is a trademark of women’s clothes and accessories set in the North of France. Its specificity is to create its exclusive collections from the high-class fabrics locally produced, essentially in Caudry, a world renowned textile center, famous for its lace Leavers, tulles, guipures and embroidery trade.
The CLAIRE VEUT LA LUNE… collections take their inspiration from that wealthy textile patrimony, playing with the properties of these materials: lightness, transparency and opacity, diversity of the designs. The trademark collections represent that exceptional Know – How made of delicacy and refinement.
The Claire veut la lune… creations are exclusively designed from Leavers from which the trademark draws its inspiration. The fabric is the basis of the creation, the models created from the history of lace. Thus, all the creations are built up taking into account the latest designs: floral, geometric or gossamer work patterns, the transparency and evanescence of the silky or cotton tulle as well as the dullness of the guipures and embroidery made in the region of Cambrai and the Northern France.
The step of the mark is to create timeless collections of women’s accessories and clothes, on a small scale or taylor-made for ennobled creations.
The products are made in our sewing worshop, tailored and hand-made or in some local workshops - small series, in strict respect with the fabrics used. All products are home-made and hand-finished – cutting off, pleating, crimping –
